Day 1: Departure from US gateway

Day 2: ATHENS. Meeting and orientation in Athens Eleutherios Venizelos Airport. Transfer to First Class Hotel, near the Acropolis. Overnight.

Day 3: ATHENS – DELPHI. Visit the famous oracle. Visit the mountainous village of Arachova. Overnight in Arachova, in hotel with all comforts.

Day 4: DELPHI – METEORA. Visit the Byzantine Monasteries, hanging over the rocks. Overnight.

Day 5: METEORA – METSOVON (traditional village) – IOANNINA (historic town). Overnight in traditional hotel/guesthouse

Day 6: IOANNINA – ZAGOROCHORIA. Drive to PINDOS historical villages. Hiking tour. Enjoy traditional specialties by local chef. Overnight in authentic hotel.

Day 7: IOANNINA – DODONI (Ancient Oracle) – IGOUMENITSA – CORFU. Overnight.

Day 8: CORFU. City tour, visiting Churches, Piazza, Fortress, the Museum, the "Mouse Island" and Achillion and Paleokastritsa. Corfu Folkdance performance. The island where Ulysses meets Naufsica. Overnight.

Day 9: CORFU – PARGA – NECROMANTEION (where Odysseus meets Adys) – NICOPOLIS (visit) – KASTROSYKIA – PREVEZA. Overnight in family hotel, on sandy beach.

Day 10: PREVEZA - ASTAKOS - ITHACA Overnight in the harbor village of Vathy, near Odysseus home, in Ithaca.

Day 11: ITHACA Visit the site of Odysseus Palace and Museum. Continue to the Monastery – Scenic drive to STAVROS-CEPHALONIA. Overnight in comfortable hotel.

Day 12: CEPHALONIA. Visit Caves of Melissani with the Blue Grotto. Continue to Agios Andreas, the Byzantine Museum with rare icons and to St. Gerasimos, the patron saint of Cephalonia and the Folklore museum. Overnight.

Day 13: CEPHALONIA-OLYMPIA Ferry trip (1 ½ hours) to Kyllini for drive to OLYMPIA to visit the famous site and Museum. Dinner and overnight in First Class Hotel in Olympia.

Day 14: OLYMPIA – ATHENS. Visit women's co-operative for handicrafts. Drive from Patras to Corinth and via the Corinth Canal to Athens. Farewell dinner with traditional dishes.

Day 15: Transfer and departure to U.S.
